Patricia Olmos Tenured Lecturer

Last October 2020, Dr. Patricia Olmos, defended and obtained in a public competition the position of Permanent Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The court was set up by Dr. Carmen Armengol (Tenured Lecturer at the UAB) as president, Dr. Mercè Junyent (Tenured Lecturer at the UAB) as secretary and Dr. Isabel del Arco (Tenured Lectures at UdL) as a member. The place won by Dr. Patricia Olmos is attached to the area of ​​knowledge of Didactics and School Organization (teaching profile: School Orientation; and research profile: tutorial action and personalization of successful itineraries: premature abandonment of young people at risk of exclusion.).

Patricia Olmos holds a PhD from the UAB in "Quality and Processes of Educational Innovation", a Master's Degree in Training of Trainers and a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Professor of the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the UAB. Her lines of research focus on educational, social and employment inclusion, vulnerable groups, initial vocational training, youth and school failure, diversity, tutorial action, guidance and training to improve employability and basic skills.
