Professor José Luís Muñoz Moreno has been recognized for his teaching excellence by the Faculty of Education Sciences at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The distinction, granted by unanimous agreement of the Faculty’s Permanent Board, highlights his exemplary career and commitment to innovative and high-quality teaching. The award was officially presented during the opening ceremony of the 2025–2026 academic year, held on October 22, 2025.
The recognition is based on a comprehensive evaluation that considered indicators such as teaching dedication, professional development, and student satisfaction, among other aspects that reflect his ongoing contribution to the improvement of university education.
José Luís Muñoz Moreno is a pedagogue, PhD in Quality and Educational Innovation Processes (Extraordinary Award), and Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Pedagogy at UAB. He is a member of the Research and Studies Center for Organizational Development (CRiEDO) at UAB. He has also taught at the University of Valencia and has been a visiting professor at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Université de Paris – Sorbonne. Additionally, he has served as Student Welfare Coordinator at the Faculty of Education Sciences, Assistant to the Vice-Rector for Students at UAB, and currently holds the position of Vice-Rector for Teaching Training and Innovation at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
