The RedAGE (Support Network for Educational Management) is  holding its Fourth Latin-American Meeting today on February 28, welcoming representatives from over 15 countries Associated with the network.

Organizational Development Team in collaboration with the ORT University of Uruguay created  the RedAGE with the support of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation. It is a Latin American network whose objective is to work on issues related to training, research, development and innovation in institutional management, linking different universities and organizations interested in the topic together.

Recently, RedAGE has established itself as an independent network with its own legal status, which means that it has become independent in respect to the AECID to begin to act on the resources that it can generate. In this case, on Tuesday 28 February, the fourth meeting of the network will be held as a continuation of previous meetings which were held in Uruguay (2009), Chile (2010) and Peru (2012).

This meeting should serve, firstly, to define new lines of action of the network for Year 2012, at the same time, it should allow the identification of strategies to be taken to ensure the economic sustainability of the coming years. It also will use the meeting to establish and strengthen relations between countries to generate synergies to achieve the most ambitious common goals.

It is also important to consider that the network has recently introduced its latest volume in the series "Reports" under "Competencies for the Practice of Management of Educational Institutions: reflections and experiences in Latin America", which is available through the following link: http://accelera.uab.cat/documents_edo/biblio/Redage2012.pdf
