The Internship "Managers as agents of change" for 42 Chilean directors, which is co-organized by FIDECAP and EDO with the support of Ministry of Education of Chile, finishes today.

The process of Chilean educational reform supports what the teams of managers and directors has profiled with a net of pedagogical leadership and guidance to be and to act as change agents. This implies a clear decision towards achieving significant levels of quality in educational services offered by school organizations.

It is sensible in this context to think of the directors as a catalyst for institutional change that makes organizations capable of learning from their failures and improve their level of development.

The internship is aimed at directors in filed, and was held in Barcelona between during  November 1 to 26, 2011, at the premises of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The program is based on four thematic pillars:
- Schools as learning organizations in change
- the management of people and school leadership
- managers as agents of change
- managers and curriculum management

The internship is funded entirely by the Ministry of Education of Chile and is jointly organized by the Organizational Development Team and FideCap. Both institutions already have a long history of cooperation in training managers for the development of projects of cooperation between Spain and Chile.

Next year in 2012 it is intended to carry out a new edition of the internship. For more information, please visit the website of  FideCap  (http://www.fidecap.cl/ ).
