Follow-up meeting of the D-EMIND Project

On January 25, there will be an online meeting to follow up on the European D-EMIND project, coordinated by David Rodríguez and funded by the Erasmus+ program.

The main objective of this project, called “D-EMIND-Promoting digital entrepreneurial mindsets in Higher Education”, is to promote that higher education institutions design, develop and provide a methodology, based on online challenges to promote mentality entrepreneur in higher education, for which different strategies and learning strategies are designed. During the meeting, it will be carried out following the three key results of the project:

  • Methodology and self-assessment tool: the outcome of this project will focus on further development of the digital sphere of the ATOM Model which fosters an entrepreneurial mindset (creativity, critical thinking, problem solving) among students in environments in line.
  • D-EMIND Toolbox and Platform: a digital repository with open resources to promote the entrepreneurial mindset. An intranet will be created to facilitate interactions between students, faculty, mentors and external organizations.
  • Training Pack: The training of students, teachers and mentors is a fundamental part of encouraging the use of the online platform and the developed entrepreneurial methodology.
  • D-EMIND MOOCs: the consortium will develop open courses for students, teachers and mentors.

The D-EMIND project, involving researchers from different European universities such as the University College of Northern Denmark (Denmark), UC Limburg (Belgium), Hochschule Dusseldorf (Germany) and Csongrad County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Hongria), is focused on four crucial goals:

  • Develop and promote the use of a trans-European platform for CBL, innovation and peer-to-peer learning between students and teachers.
  • Facilitate the real world problems for students, as part of their formal education, cooperate with external organizations to help them solve these problems.
  • Merging the learning based on challenges and the teaching of entrepreneurship and, therefore, transferring all two to the next level.
  • Prepare students for a working life that transgresses physical and/or digital borders, increasing their ability to work at the European/international level.
  • Strengthen the link between higher education institutions and external institutions and organizations (companies, public administration, NGOs, etc.) in order to co-create entrepreneurship promotion projects.
