Erasmus + Conference

Joaquín Gairín presents the EDO group experience in the Erasmus + program at a conference organized by the AGAUR and the UAB.
On the 14th of December, it has been held an informative conference of the Erasmus + program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, organized by the UAB’s International Projects’ Office and the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR, is its acronym in Catalan).
Erasmus + is the European program that works in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period of 2014-2020. It is a unique program that seeks to boost job prospects and personal development, as well as to help our education, training and youth systems provide teaching and learning that prepare people with the skills needed for the job market and current and future society.
The conference counted with the participation of Ms. Piia HanÄmaki, project advisor of the European Union's Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), who presented the different types of centralized projects available under the Erasmus + program. Furthermore, Mireia Galí, project technician of the UAB International Projects’ Office has presented the different decentralized actions allowed to be financed under the European program.
Following, teachers from the UAB, the UdG and the IAAC have presented experiences of concrete projects that are coordinating in relation to the different typologies of projects financed by the European Union. Thus, Joaquín Gairín has exposed the experience of the EDO-UAB team in the leadership of international projects financed under calls of the European Union, among which were stand out the projects: ACCEDES, ACCESS4ALL and ORACLE, this last one currently under negotiation.
