Mataró Educa a Xarxa (MEX) has received the II CRiEDO Award for Innovation and Development of Educational and Training Institutions.

Once the Jury was assembled, consisting of Jesús Moral Castrillo (Deputy Director General of Innovation and Training), Marta Bertrán Tarrés (Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the UAB), Gemma París Romia (Member of the Executive Committee of the CRiEDO of the UAB), Joaquín Gairín Sallán director of the CRiEDO) and Diego Castro Ceacero (director of the Department of Applied Pedagogy of the UAB) and Eduard Mallol i Blanch (president of the European Forum of Education Administrators in Catalonia) and considering the bases of the convened Prize and the criteria it establishes, as well as the individual assessments issued by the members of the Jury, it has decided to award the II CRiEDO Prize for Innovation and Development of Educational and Training Institutions to Mataró Educa a Xarxa.

The jury has highlighted it as an example of networked work among centers, educational services, movements of pedagogical renewal and educational inspection since the 2018-2019 academic year in the city of Mataró. The award recognizes the real integration of different instances and educational and socio-political agents of the city around well-planned lines of work and with their own calendars and work dynamics. The advances as a city are collected and, above all, the main objective: awareness of the city and of the pedagogical work shared by all centers and institutions in the 0-18 stage.

In parallel, an honorable mention has also been awarded to the Union Training Consortium, highlighting its ongoing training proposal for health professionals and its impact; as well as reflecting the joint work of the Catalan Union of Hospitals and the Health and Social Consortium of Catalonia.
