CRiEDO at the XVII Ibero-American Education Meeting (EIDE)

The CRiEDO management team participated in the XVII Ibero-American Education Meeting (EIDE) held in Alcalá de Henares and Guadalajara from November 15 to 17.

CRiEDO collaborates as a member of the organizing commission, integrating professor Joaquín Gairín in the Organizing Committee and professors Diago Castro and David Rodríguez in the Scientific Committee. The director of CRiEDO, Joaquín Gairín, was in charge of the inaugural conference entitled “Educating and managing education in complexity and uncertainty”

The University of Alcalá (UAH) in Madrid and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) organized the XVII Ibero-American Education Meeting (EIDE 2023) with the purpose of continuing to offer a scientific, rigorous and committed space for discussion and interdisciplinary, inter-university and international, with the focus on the Ibero-American geographical and cultural context, responding to the need to continue analyzing the educational reality from a global and collaborative perspective, as demanded by all professional and academic fields of education.

This is an international and interuniversity education event that has been taking place alternately in Spain, Brazil and various Latin American countries, beginning in 2006. During this time, sixteen editions have been held in which other venues have been incorporated. universities in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru, with more than thirty Ibero-American universities and institutions participating in these years More than 300 conferences and debate tables have taken place, with more than 2,000 presentations and communications, no less than 10,000 participants have been received in these eighteen years, even surpassing the fateful year of 2020 of the pandemic, with the last edition being in Santiago de Chile, with the direct participation of the Andrés Bello University (Chile) and the Organization of Ibero-American States.
