Professor Gemma París presented the main results of the Interstice project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, at the Festival elPetit.
On Saturday, November 18, the co-coordinator of the Interstice project: Encounters between artists, children and educators, Gemma París, organized a session entitled “Creative looks at early childhood” aimed at teachers of nursery schools and second cycle of early childhood education, which invited reflection through the arts on the representation that various modern and contemporary photographers have made in relation to early childhood. Registration for this session also included access to the VIII International Arts Encounter for (first) childhood held on November 17 and 18.
The Interstice: Encounters between artists, children and educators project, coordinated by Silvia Blanch and Gemma París and developed between 2020 and 2023, aimed to improve the level of competences among students of Early Childhood and Primary Education degrees of the universities of the consortium, by training them in quality aesthetic practices in education; to bring high quality contemporary art in early childhood education, preschools and primary schools, improving children creativity and critical thinking; and to bring high quality contemporary art closer to early childhood and primary education centres
