The conference of University and Disability will present Tutorial Action Plan

The conference "University and Disability" will take place on December 4, in the building of the Rectorad of UAB. It will present the Tutorial Action Plan (TAP) for university students with disabilities.
The Presentation Conference of Tutorial Action Plan (TAP) for university students with disabilities, which will take place on December 4, is intended as a work space where one can gather input and feedback from teachers and the rest of experts in disability issues. The FAS is involved in organizing this event that has taken place under the framework of the call for aid from the Ministry of Education for the development and activities aimed at improving the integral attention and employability of university students.
INTERNATIONAL DAY
Coincidented with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, this time the aim is to present the results and the Guide of Recommendations for which will be evaluated by the UAB teachers, representatives of entities of the world of disabilities and technical staff who dedicate themselves to the services for university students from other universities. After the review, participants can validate its content.
The elaboration of PAT arises from new educational model that provides the tutorial action as the fundamental exercise in student learning and the new Universitraio Student Statute, which reflects on the need to adapt the tutoring programs and activities for the needs of students with disabilities.
EDO-UAB members have worked together to develop the project and in the preparation of the ConferenceUniversity and Disability which will consist of two parts, the first will consist of four focus groups with representatives from entities of disabilities technical staff of services of attention to other universities, and professors who have or have had students with disabilities among their students. The second part of the conference will be a panel discussion to be presented in the Guide of Recommendations by the Vice-Rector of Students and Co-operation at UAB.
