Commissioner of Education and University

Miquel Àngel Essomba, member of EDO and coordinator of its subgroup ERDISC; has been incorporated to the municipal government of Barcelona as a new Commissioner of Education and Universities, assigned to the Second Deputy of Mayor’s Office in Social Rights.

Essomba has highlighted that Barcelona must recover the pedagogical innovation leadership that always has distinguished it. Moreover, he points that Education in Barcelona “must become a process of building all together, actors involved and citizenship, drawing a continuous unfinished line of improvement that ensures educational equity for all through life.

Miquel Àngel will combine his new assignment with those that he already develops as university teacher and in EDO group as a coordinator of the subgroup ERDISC, which currently is working on different projects such as: ALFIRK, KOINOS, FamilyEduNet o KABUA.
