Boost Training: Virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics and programming

During the month of November and December, the two BOOST project training sessions were held.

The BOOST project led by Professor Cristina Mercader aims to promote the development of Digital Teaching Competence in the levels of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. The CDD is a transversal competence in the entire Early Childhood and Primary Education degree, which has been transformed towards the teaching field until defining the Digital Teaching Competence (CDD).

The BOOST project aims to prepare innovative teaching materials for teaching with digital technologies, implement the created teaching materials in the classroom and propose a workshop for the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education Sciences to incorporate the prepared materials. . The project has funding of €2,300.. In addition, the BOOST project includes training in virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics and programming. This allows students and teachers to experiment with innovative technologies and prepare for the needs of the 21st century.
