On Friday, January 16, 2026, the EdU-InA project will host a dissemination seminar titled “Discourses of Academic Leaders on the Integration of Generative AI in University Teaching”.
The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CET) online via Microsoft Teams, and registration is open and free of charge. This will be the second webinar in the dissemination series “Educational Policies and Practices on Generative AI”,which accompanies the development of the project with the aim of sharing progress related to each Specific Objective. In this case, the seminar is linked to Specific Objective 2.1, focused on analyzing the discourses and opinions of academic leaders regarding the integration of generative AI in higher education.
The EdU-InA project (Policies and Practices on Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education), funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities under the Knowledge Generation call (PID2023-149069OA-I00), aims to promote the integration of generative AI in universities from a rigorous, ethical, and equitable perspective. The project seeks to help faculty make the most of generative AI in their teaching, adapt curricula and assessment activities to students’ real needs, and provide university leaders with evidence and tools to adapt institutions and prepare future professionals—all based on research results.
Webinar 2.1 will also feature the keynote lecture “Beyond Prohibition: AI and Quality in Higher Education” by Mercè Gisbert Cervera, Director of the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU Catalunya).
