Available online now the presentations of Access4All Conference held in Bergamo (Italy) last September.

On September 27th of 2016 took place the Access4All International Conference "Best Practices for Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education" based in Bergamo, Italy. This conference allowed participants to reflect on institutional policies and good practices developed to promote social and educational inclusion of those vulnerable groups of non-traditional students or under-represented in Higher Education Institutions.

From the comparison and analysis of cases and international experiences, more than 120 researchers and experts from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Ecuador, Spain, Finland, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania and Chile, discuss about equity and inclusion promotion by facilitating access for disadvantaged students and with fewer opportunities compared to their peers, key aspect in Erasmus + Program.

The representative of the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education, Marcella Turner-Cmuchal, opened the conference with a didactic and determining exposition in relation to Inclusion in Higher Education from the perspective of Human Rights.
Afterward, each of the six partner universities of the project, which have extensive and complementary experience on analysis of social work, higher education research, policy and management, counselling and mentoring and inclusion, presented the good practices developed in their respective countries and territories.

Moreover, the conference was also an opportunity to present the first Intellectual Output of the project. This output consists of mapping the vulnerable groups of "non-traditional students" in the consortium of the universities participating in the project. This document shows an overview of different definitions of "non-traditional students" in the European Higher Education and it presents some data and summarizes the main policies regarding the inclusion in Higher Education in each country.
