5th International Congress on Educational Management

The 5th International Congress on Educational Management: Governance and Leadership for Global Justice will be held on Wednesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Universidad ORT Uruguay in Montevideo.

The 5th International Congress on Educational Management, promoted by RedAGE, is conceived as an academic space for reflection, exchange, and knowledge production aimed at critically analyzing how educational governance and leadership processes are currently shaped in Latin America. The focus will be placed on institutional decisions, regulatory frameworks, organizational cultures, and leadership practices that mediate between public policies, institutions, and the people who inhabit them.

Likewise, the congress seeks to problematize the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on educational management—not from a technocratic perspective, but as part of a broader network of ethical, pedagogical, and institutional decisions. In this regard, special attention will be given to the processes of professionalization of teaching and management, to inclusion and diversity policies in higher education, and to the curricular and assessment innovations needed to support genuine and lasting transformations.

From a Latin American and comparative perspective, the congress invites researchers, managers, public policy leaders, trainers, and teachers to share studies, experiences, and reflections that help promote a more just, democratic system of educational governance oriented toward the care of people and institutions.
