30th Anniversary of Educar Journal

The new issue of Educar Journal is out. “Special 30th Aniversary: progress and challenges in education” is focused in putting all in balance analyzing achievements, challenges and mistakes done in the last 30 years in education. Joan Rué, Jaume Sarramona, Denise Vaillant, Marina Subirats, Juan M. Escudero, Sebastián Donoso, Julio Cabero and Ignacio Aguaded have participated trying to promote reflection and analyzing of the current quandaries as much as the future ones about teacher training, ICT, gender policies, innovation and relations with the surroundings..

Educar was born in 1982 as a transformation of the yearbook that collected contributions and activities done by professors that were working in Science Education Section of Philosophy and Humanities Language on UAB. Nowadays, it’s a university semester journal of research, edited by Applied Pedagogy Department on UAB. Currently, their main goal is promoting, sharing and discuss with other professors, scientists and academics, new facets and progresses in educational research.

It should be pointed out that EDUCAR has counted for several years on many members of Organizational Development Team (EDO) like Joaquín Gairín Sallan (current Director), David Rodríguez Gómez (current secretary) and Monica Feixas (current member of Editor Board).
