La Red de Apoyo a la Gestión Educativa (RedAGE) was created in 2008 and is currently an international association made up of thirty higher education institutions and ministries of education belonging to seventeen Ibero-American countries (member organizations), along with more than 500 institutions collaborators. Its main objective is the creation and development of a network that serves as a reference and support, firstly, to Ibero-American university institutions and, secondly, to educational administrations, training institutions and those interested in issues of organization, direction and management of The education. Participants in RedAGE exchange and disseminate information on the themes of the organization, management and direction of educational institutions, promoting training, research and joint publications. At the same time, it holds face-to-face meetings (Montevideo, 2009; Santiago de Chile, 2010; Lima, 2011; Panama City, 2012; La Paz, 2013; Havana, 2014, Panama City, 2015; Leiría, 2016; Sao Paulo, 2017 ; Santiago de Chile, 2018, Barcelona, ​​2019; Virtual, 2020) to discuss specific problems and form knowledge creation and management groups on matters of their competence and interest. Open to any university, institution, association, community or forum that has lines of work in the field of Management of Educational Institutions, it is organized in the form of a network, with member and collaborating organizations by country, which can participate by sending and exchanging information. Its work system includes permanent work commissions (Training, Research, Education Policy and Management, and Economy and Administration) and commissions focused on specific current scientific or professional topics.
