This contribution includes the work of 47 specialists from 14 Ibero-American countries who contribute their studies and assessments on the subject. Thus, a broad vision of its development in the different countries is provided, providing for each of them normative references, the reality in their universities, some relevant examples and some reflections and proposals for improvement. Thus, once again, the social commitment of the Educational Management Support Network (RedAGE) to issue an annual report on relevant aspects of the organization and management of education is fulfilled. The theme and structure of the report was debated and approved at the annual meeting held in Barcelona on April 9, 2019, where some of the problems and challenges that the link with the environment poses for university administrators and managers were also analyzed. The different contributions try to reflect the reality in the different countries from the writers of the national reports. The purpose is not so much to identify all existing achievements as to know significant contributions and have a qualified assessment of the reality and perspectives on the topic addressed. We hope the aforementioned purpose has been fulfilled and the result is of interest to specialists and interested parties.
