This thesis sets out three fundamental objectives: first, to identify the characteristics of the physical environment in music centers in Paraguay; second, to analyze the perceptions of teachers and administrators regarding their management; and third, to examine the improvement proposals put forward by both groups. All of this is approached from an exploratory mixed-methods perspective.

The results indicate that, despite efforts to adapt spaces to the modern demands of music education, significant challenges remain—particularly regarding acoustics, spatial distribution, and infrastructure adaptation for individuals with specific needs. Furthermore, the study highlights the limited presence of libraries, auditoriums, and digital environments that support academic and administrative management.

Finally, three key areas for improvement are proposed, considered essential and indispensable for the proper functioning of music centers: the implementation of instrument lending banks, the adaptation and soundproofing of classrooms for music teaching, and the provision of libraries with diverse and accessible pedagogical materials.
