XXV birthday of the Applied Pedagogy Department

The UAB Department of Applied Pedagogy has celebrated during the day of October 18th its 25th anniversary. The EDO Group has been linked to the Department since its creation and most of its members are attached to it, which is why many of them participated in this activity.

During the morning a conversation was held with the people who took over the management in recent years. In this sense, Professor Joaquín Gairín (director and founder of EDO) and Professor Marina Tomàs (member of the EDO group since its foundation) have participated in this activity as they were second director and fifth director of the Department of Applied Pedagogy. Next, the brotherhood meal was carried out between the members of the Department and those attending the event.

Then a conversation took place with the faculty that is part of the Department, where they explained the circumstances and experiences that led them to enter the Department. After that, there was the act of recognition to the faculty of Applied Pedagogy that also turned 25 years forming part of the same. As a closing, Berta Vidal and Efrén García Salinas, voice and piano respectively, have interpreted ‘Seda i setí’ in the Eduard Tolrà Classroom. The farewell of the event has been accompanied by a toast with all the attendees.
