IV Red Inche Meeting

RedInche is the Network of Chilean researchers in Spain. The meeting is called 'Chile, a diverse land’.
The EDO Group participates as a collaborator in the conferences held in Barcelona in October. Specifically, during 19th and 20th, some of conferences and presentations have been held that will have as main theme the scientific potential of Chilean natural and socio-cultural wealth, under the name of 'Chile, diverse scenario'.
In fact, the objective of this Meeting is to discuss the innovative potential that exists for scientific and academic research in Chile and the challenges and opportunities it presents for the future, thus giving continuity to the mission of socializing knowledge that the INCHE network carries developing since the year 2011.
In this sense, the EDO group has been linked to the Inche Network since it was developed, since the group has frequently counted on doctoral students from the South American country and the relations between the Chilean universities and the group have been quite narrow for years.
In addition, Joaquín Gairín, director of the EDO, participates today in a session that has to do with "The roles and the challenges of the University in times of reform", which takes place in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona (UB), the site where the Inche Red Meeting takes place.
In addition, the IV Meeting has summoned researchers, students and professionals from different areas of knowledge to share their work and reflect on how the natural and socio-cultural conditions of Chile are an opportunity for the development of science. This year they have also provided a space to strengthen links with other networks of researchers who develop their projects in Europe and other countries of the world.
