XIV CoP Meeting on Knowledge Management

On 28th April, the fourteenth session of the Knowledge Management Community of Practice will take place.
On Thursday, April 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Maiol Masip will participate as a speaker in the Knowledge Management Community of Practice, reflecting on the importance of simplifying the processes of an organization to eliminate everything that does not add value, from the point of view of user view.
Masip is an industrial engineer, specialized in the LEAN philosophy. In recent years he has been working in a Chinese factory where LEAN has been the way to improve efficiency and internal coordination. He also works in the health field, advising hospitals to improve their flows and processes. He will share with us his experience in different healthcare and industrial organizations that he has helped reduce:
- Unjustified waiting.
- Defects in processes, products or services.
- superfluous activities.
- Accidents and errors.
- The CoP in Knowledge Management is made up of experts and professionals linked to the Creation and Management of Knowledge who meet periodically with the aim of analyzing different experiences linked to this field of work in organizations. Specifically, experiences with a wide range have been analyzed, among others, in the field of educational, health, justice, communication and research organizations.
