XII Inter-University Congress of Organization of Educational Institutions, which will be held in Granada on December 18, 19 and 20, 2012, extend the deadline of papers presentations until October 15.
This new edition of CIOIE reflects the tradition accumulated by the knowledge and effort of many teachers in the Area of DOE who have devoted their teaching and research capacity in the field of educational organizations in recent years.
The theme chosen for this edition is "emerging responses from the organization of educational institutions", and it aims to be a space which can present new approaches that address to the organization and management of educational institutions, with an open mind that allows rethinking of the role of educational organizations in the 21st Century.
Two interesting milestones characterise of the 12th edition . On the one hand, the proximity of the twenty-five years of the initiative, ie, its "silver wedding"; and on the other hand, retirement-mediately or immediately from the first "powerful" generation of faculty dedicated to the study of the sub-area. This requires us to rethink our conference with a view to future improvements and to acknowledge the contributions of some teachers for the consolidation in School Organization in our country.
The conference shows little innovation in its structure, which contains plenary lectures (three foreign professors), symposia (5x4 = 20 participants), communications and posters. It may have to emphasize on the ways of sobriety and expenditure and the use of virtual registration form that will reach a wider audience.
