Workshop about University Governance and change processes

On March 19th and 21st UDELAS Panama welcomes a workshop about University Governance and change processes given by Diego Castro, EDO-UAB member. Both days of the meeting, several members of administrative staff of rector’s office, deanship and departments will attend for discussing the key elements about the proper university functioning as well as its current challenges such as market tendencies, research management, the challenge of autonomy and the relationship between teaching and researching in academic context. This workshop is born of an initiative from UDELAS rector and it’s organized by vice-deanship of extension.

The relationship between UDELAS university with EDO group is strengthened through the close collaboration in training like this workshop of university governance, as well as the joint participation in international projects such as ACCEDES (Academic access and success  of vulnerable groups in risk contexts in Latinamerica) or their collaborative work of Support of Education Management Network (Red AGE), a scientific non-profit association that tries to promote the improvement of education management in Iberoamerica..
