The EDO Group has assisted on meeting in Leiria (Portugal) in order to track the Access4All project.

At the beginning of October, the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria (IPL) made a new meeting of the “Access4All” project, the European network that works for the social and educational inclusion of vulnerable groups in Higher Education. The EDO Group has taken part of this meeting as same as the other university institutions that are also members of the project, such as Finland, Italy, the United Kingdom and Romania, as well as Portugal, the host member.

The purpose of the meeting was to advance the promotion of a truly inclusive university on the one hand, and on the other hand, the success of students coming from disadvantaged backgrounds and which usually have lower opportunities compared to their counterparts. Now the main focus is to contribute to generating actions that make equality of possible access as a reality and equity. In this sense, "Access4All" participants have been able to track and evaluate the status and situation of the project, as well as plan the actions that will be carried out in the near future.
