On June 6, the 12th Meeting of Research Managers of Catalonia was held, a key event in the field of research, under the motto “The challenges of research management”.
This meeting, which was organized by AGAUR in collaboration with the University of Lleida, served as a platform for the exchange of good practices between project managers of the university and research system of Catalonia. In addition, it provided support for the professionalization of managers and recognized their work within the research system.
The main objective of this year’s new edition was to share experiences on the ability to adapt to changes in the face of the new challenges posed by the current approach to research policies, which seek a greater social impact. The 2024 Meeting wanted to highlight the importance of research management to face the growing complexity of research projects, in accordance with the regulatory, political and systemic principles that affect the challenges of current research and its impact on society.
