Visit of Vilma Sukackè at UAB

Vilma Sukackė is a lecturer in technology for learning, educational innovation and data analysis and visualisation at the University of Technology (Kaunas, Lithuania) and is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Sciences at the same university. During her visit, organised by the CORE in Education and Employability of our university, Professor Sukackè held various meetings to learn more about the functioning of our faculty, and in particular the Centre for Research and Studies for Organisational Development, where she will be welcomed by Cristina Mercader.

During her stay, she also gave several lectures in the subjects of Communication and Educational Interaction II, where she spoke about the use of social networks for educational purposes, as well as in the subject of Education and Educational Contexts, where she presented the structure of the Lithuanian education system and was able to contrast with the students their differences and similarities with the educational system in our country.

During her stay, she was also interested in the work carried out by the UAB to bring science closer to society and work on the co-creation of knowledge between researchers, companies, students, civil society and public administrations through the UAB Open Labs. In this line, she visited the UAB facilities, where she was able to share experiences with those in charge and explore possibilities for future collaboration.
