University Teaching

This week face-to-face sessions take place in university teaching courses that EDO-SERVEIS is developing in Chile.
During this week, a 4 teachers team participate in the training activities related to an agreement of collaboration signed last September between University of Tarapacá (Chile) and EDO-SERVEIS whose main purpose is this university teacher training in teaching skills and competencies.
Specifically, in these activities will participate Patricia Olmos, related to UAB and usual collaborator of EDO group, who is an expert in attention to diversity, so she will teach about “Organization of University Classroom and Attention to Diversity”. Also, it will count on Primitivo Sanchez, teacher in Complutense University of Madrid, who will teach in face-to-face sessions related to the course “Planning of a subject”; Antonio Latorre, professor in the field of Research Methods and Educational Diagnosis in University of Barcelona, who will teach the course “Action Research in university class” and finally, Neus Santmartí, an emeritus teacher in the UAB’s Department of Didáctics in Sciences, who will teach the course “Assessing University students’ learning”.
In addition to those teachers, this week Diego Castro and Joaquín Gairín will also be there working in the University of Tarapacá, counselling their institutional managers and academics about implementing a new educational model in their higher education degrees taught in the cited university.
Both training activities are developed from EDO-SERVEIS, laboratory of services, which is attached to the Applied Pedagogy Department and whose purpose is to promote transfer of all knowledge acquired during more than 20 years of experience in the development of educational and training organization.
