EDO participates as a partner in the project “Pro-Networks: Supporting inter-sectorial networks in the integration of university drop-outs into vocational education and training”. 

EDO-UAB group participates as a partner in the development of the project ProNet “Pro-Networks: Supporting inter-sectorial networks in the integration of university drop-outs into vocational education and training”, funded by European Comissión with a total budget of 147.046€ in the framework of Erasmus Plus. FBB Forschungs Institut Betribliche Bildung Gemeinnutzige GMBH from Germany will coordinate the project, which will be developed from September 2015 to August 2017. In addition to EDO-UAB, it will partitipate other entitites associate to the project such as: Centre Interinstitutionnel de Bilan de Compétences Bourgogne Sud (France), Akademia Przedsiebiorczosci spolka z ograniczona odpowiedzialnoscia (Poland) and Narodni vzdelavaci fond, o.p.s (Czech Republic).

The project is focused on identifying and understanding all over Europe, the documents and recognition of the learning outcomes of those students that drop-out from University, whose number is increasing. The purpose is that those students were able to take advantage of the European area of skills and competencies with the creation of a new tool. The partners of the project will develop handbooks that will allow those students to document their qualifications and competencies.

All of this is in the context of the European Area of Skills and Qualifications, which implies to accept that traineeships learnt from a national context are applicable in others, thus promoting mobility in the work place. The project is linked to other works that have allow to create the European Qualification Framework (EQF), the European Credit System for Vocational Education Training (ECVET), as well as other still in development such as the European Skills, Competences and Occupation (ESCO).
