University Teaching in Montevideo

During the next months, EDO-UAB will teach, in collaboration with the University Institute of the Christian Youth Association (Uruguay), the Master in Teaching and University Management. The first sessions have been developed by Dr. Diego Castro between September 25 and 27 in the city of Montevideo.

The activities carried out have been structured in two units: in the first one the environment, the conditions, the trends, the models, the phenomenon of the URM, the intensification, the teaching, the dilemmas of the management, the change and innovations have been treated ; In the second unit, aspects related to teaching staff, development, career, evaluation and promotion have been discussed.

The Master in Teaching and University Management (MDGU) is aimed at teachers, university managers, as well as other professionals in public and private higher education, motivated to consolidate their professional development. It is also aimed at academics interested in expanding their knowledge about the new trends in teaching and management of higher education institutions. Its curricular structure integrates a first formative phase of Diploma, which is complemented by a second one that totals the Master.

The master's degree, which will also have the participation in training activities of other members of the EDO Group, is the result of the collaboration agreement signed between the IUACJ and EDO-SERVEIS, a laboratory for the provision of services whose purpose is to promote the transfer to society of the knowledge acquired during more than 20 years of experience in the development of educational and training organizations.
