Professor José Luís Muñoz Moreno, member of CRiEDO, and Erika Ospina Rozo have recently published an article in the International Journal of Educational Management titled University management based on intellectual capital: a study case with three Colombian universities.
This research offers a new perspective on university management by considering universities as knowledge-based institutions. The study proposes a conceptual framework grounded in intellectual capital and specific university management activities, structured according to their components. Through the analysis of three Colombian universities, the authors identify activities that require improvement and detect common patterns among institutions with diverse characteristics. The results provide valuable tools for strategic decision-making and for ensuring quality in higher education.
This publication reinforces CRiEDO’s commitment to applied research and knowledge transfer in the field of educational management. The article is already available online and can be accessed here.
