The Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) has been named the best Spanish university and is among the 150 most valued universities in the world.
The Autonomous University of Barcelona, the higher education institution to which CRiEDO is linked, has been named for the second consecutive year as the best Spanish university by the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) ranking. The UAB is ranked 149th in the world, being the only Spanish university among the top 150. The university has risen 29 positions compared to last year’s ranking, when it was ranked 178th.
The prestigious ranking, which evaluates universities from all over the world, published the results for the year 2024 on June 27th, 2023. In this 20th edition, QS has introduced three new metrics, including the international research network.
