Study Abroad

From today until next 22^nd of January a group of 88 professionals and students from the educational field linked to the Universidad de la República (Uruguai) do an internship program in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with the purpose of improving their knowledge about inclusive education and specific didactics.

With this internship program, which will include lecture sessions, practical work and visits to educational centres, it is intended to boost thinking about new educational proposals, advertise the essential aspects of the Spanish educational system and benefit exchange of experiences related to the topics worked during the sessions, which are specified in attention to diversity as an educational and social challenge, current challenges in experimental science didactics, language and literature didactics, and social sciences didactics; attention to students with special education needs, the working process of pre-primary and secondary education, change and innovation in education, managing roles and their relation with educational centres and their surroundings.

The activity, in the framework of the UAB’s program “Study Abroad”, is coordinated by Equipo de Desarrollo Organizacional of UAB through EDO-Serveis, and in its development are involved teachers from the Educational Sciences Faculty (UAB) and teachers from Universitat de Barcelona.
