All contributions, respecting different author’s styles of writing, don’t seek to explain the topic in a theoretical level, but present the most significant things of every reality and proposals that are developed related to them. The focus is clearly organizational; if we consider that a common part of all contributions is related to policies and practices that organize research management, although not always it can be separated from policies of human resources of innovation promotion or social economical changes.
This publication is connected to the 7th Annual RedAGE meeting, developed on 7th, 8th and 9th of July in Panama City. There, the institution member representatives selected the theme and agreed to establish the structure of contributions. In this case, the focus on research management had double intention: address a topic slightly studied and contribute to management processes of universities.
This covers again an essential purpose of RedAGE, which is promoting exchange of experiences, promoting knowledge about administration an educational management, and reflecting on managerial practices. The final purpose is to improve the working process of those organizations centered in training processes (and thought them, educational systems), ensuring their quality and tools for professional and social change.
