María José García San Pedro, member of EDO group, has published " Assessing the integration of skills in college," the result of research work done in the development of his doctoral thesis.

Today the skills and learning outcomes are part of everyday vocabulary university . However, this presence in the speech does not guarantee their effective integration in the curriculum . The point is that beyond the conceptual complexity of the construct of pedagogical discussions held or difficulties to carry into practice the skills , the quality of a training program is measured by its ability to show that what claims to promote , effectively promotes and evaluates it.

The work we present is a roadmap to evaluate the effective integration of skills in a training program. It is organized in two parts: 1. Strategic vision of a training program : presents the fundamentals of conceptual change required to integrate the new model in an educational context. 2. Roadmap to the effective integration of skills : Presents the Model for Assessing the Integration of Competency Program ( MEIC- P) as a tool for assessing the integration of training and competency assessment.

This work, conceived from research , reflection and experience, to be a tool for scholars, management teams , coordination and teaching.
