The PhD Candidate Anna Diaz Vicario makes a predoctoral stay three months in the research group Youth Violence Project of the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. Within the group, led by Dr. Dewey Cornell, will have the opportunity to see the work that various institutions in Virginia to ensure optimum safety conditions in public schools, including programs for the prevention of violence in the primary and secondary schools, may participate in a study to analyze the views that students and teachers have on climate and security conditions of the schools.
Dr. Dewey Cornell, a professor of education at the University of Virginia and director of the Virginia Youth Violence Project and expert, among other issues, school environment, health and wellness, adolescents and educational contexts, is in charge of protecting this stay research.
