Participation in World Teachers’ Day
On October 6, Joaquín Gairín participated in the event organized by COPEC to celebrate World Teachers' Day.
On October 6, 2022, from the Pedagogy and School committee of the College of Pedagogy of Catalonia, World Teachers' Day was celebrated with an act on 'School organization and inclusiveness', in which Professor Joaquín Gairín, professor of Didactics and School Organization at the UAB.
Prof. Gairín focused his speech emphasizing the importance of taking into account the Organization of the Center and the context, in any of the aspects that can affect students, teachers and/or families.
World Teachers' Day is a celebration that began on October 5, 1994, from the communiqué signed in 1966 by the International Organization of Workers and UNESCO, complemented in 1997 by the communiqué on the condition of the staff. teacher of higher education, where the International Institutions put on the table the rights and responsibilities of the teaching staff, the standards for initial and continuing training, the conditions for hiring teachers, and those of the teaching-learning process.
