On 28th and 29th October, a conference on higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean was held in virtual format.

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), with the support of DG Education, Youth, Culture and Sport (EAC) and international partners (International Partnerships, INTPA) of the European Commission, organized an online meeting on projects based on capacity building and fostering cooperation in higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean. It also had the collaboration of the network of Latin American coordinators E+CBHE (Building Capacity and Promoting Cooperation in Higher Education) and the technical support of the Colombian Association of Universities (ASCUN).

The 92 CBHE projects carried out in the region since 2015 were brought together to create synergies, give visibility, show the impact achieved and discuss common themes and success stories of the CBHE Projects. The day consisted of 3 sessions organized during those two days, divided into a plenary session, parallel workshops and a closing session.

CRiEDO participated with the presentation of the ORACLE project, developed between 2016 and 2019. The ORACLE observatory aims to be a space for the exchange of experiences, the preparation of studies and the proposal of lines of action focused on improving inclusion and equity in higher education institutions in Latin America. The focus of analysis are the students, the administration and services staff and the teaching staff that are part of the institutions analyzed.

The results and conclusions of the day's meeting will result in a publication that will be widely distributed in the region.
