Participation in the Conference FEAEC
Marita Navarro participated Past May 10 at the conference representing FEAEC teacher school organization EDO-UAB
Under the banner "European Schools. De leadership management" was held at the Casa del Mar in Barcelona, the School Management XVII Conference organized by the European Forum of Educational Administrators in Catalonia.
La Jornada featured two plenary lectures: the first one entitled "ambiguities and limits of pedagogical leadership of school principals" who was in charge of prof. Phillipe Perrenoud, University of Geneva (Switzerland), the second was entitled "Evaluation of schools and school regulation" and was given by Denis Meuret, professor at the University of Burgundy (France).
The conference continued with a panel discussion who shared their views on the transition from school leadership direction Pepe Menendez (Deputy Director General of Jesuits of Catalonia), Joan Mateo (Secretary of Education Policy Dept. of Education) and Nieves Lorenzo (Head of Dept. Languages Teaching tarragon). The conference was highly appreciated, especially by the debate generated around the concepts of leadership, organizational development, evaluation and community center and surroundings.
