The 17th issue of the RedAGE report series has been published, titled Teaching Evaluation in Ibero-American University Systems: Foundations and Management. The work, published in 2025 by EDO-Services, was authored by Joaquín Gairín Sallán and Luciano Román Medina.
This report analyzes and assesses the models of university teaching evaluation applied in Ibero-American countries, as well as the management carried out both at the university system level and within individual universities or higher education institutions. The content focuses on:
- Principles guiding the evaluation models in each country.
- Associated management processes (who conducts them, how they are implemented, and their effects).
- Positive and negative impacts of the applied models.
The report offers a critical and comparative perspective that may be of interest to institutional leaders, researchers, and professionals involved in improving university teaching quality.
