RedAGE has published the report "The management of social responsibility in Ibero-American universities" online.

The book is part of the Report Series, published annually by RedAGE, and focuses on university policies related to equity and respect for human rights, understanding that higher education institutions must contribute to socio-community development and overcoming inequities, according to their role of social transformation.

This new report gathers the work of 47 specialists from 14 Ibero-American countries who contribute their knowledge and assessments on the management of social responsibility in Ibero-American universities. This provides a broad vision of its development in the different countries, providing for each of them references to the existing regulations, the reality in their universities, some relevant example and some reflections and proposals for improvement. Thus, and once again, the social commitment of the Educational Management Support Network (RedAGE) is fulfilled to issue an annual report on relevant aspects of the organization and management of education in Ibero-America. The theme and structure of the report was debated and approved at the annual meeting held in Barcelona on April 9, 2019, where some of the problems and challenges that linking with the environment pose for administrators and managers of the universities. The different contributions try to reflect the reality in the different countries from the drafters of the national reports. The purpose is not so much to identify all the existing achievements as to know significant contributions and have a qualified assessment of reality and perspectives on the topic addressed.

The report was coordinated by Joaquín Gairín and Saida López-Crespo, both members of EDO-UAB.
