Finalisation modules of the diploma in University Management

Last March 31, the last of the three modules that make up the first training phase of the Master in Teaching and University Management ended.

Between the months of September 2019 and March 2020, EDO-Servicios taught the first formative phase of the Master in Teaching and University Management at the University Institute of Christian Youth Association (Uruguay), consisting of the following modules: "The university context "," the academic structure "and" Challenges of the current university ". Through the three modules, aspects related to the current university, university professors, the organization of faculties and departments, university orientation and tutoring, international trends and university quality and development have been studied. These modules have had the participation of professors Joaquín Gairín (UAB), Diego Castro (UAB), Isabel del Arco (UdL), Enric Prats (UB) and Carme Armengol (UAB).

The Master in Teaching and University Management (MDGU) for teachers, university managers, as well as other professionals in public and private higher education, motivated to consolidate their professional development. It is also aimed at interested academics to expand their knowledge of new trends in teaching and management in higher education institutions. Its curricular structure integrates a first phase, which can lead to the Postgraduate Diploma, and is complemented by a second one that allows obtaining the Master's degree. This is offered as corporate training, and is carried out at the request of university centers or educational administrations. Until today this program has been taught in Chile, Panama and Uruguay.
