New issue of “Perspectiva Educacional” journal
In this issue there are five members of EDO-UAB who have participated presenting two papers on topics related to the educational management
"Perspectiva Educacional" Journal is a periodical of the Catholic University of Valparaiso (Chile) specializes in disseminating research results and reflections on the field of initial and continuing training of teachers.
Volume 52 (1), published recently, has been devoted to the analysis of educational institutions and organizations that are managed by institutional life, affecting the area of the curriculum, such as resources and their management. Thus, this issue provides updated information and knowledge resulting from research and studies on school organization and management. The main focus has centered on the variables and factors affecting culture, efficiency, quality and success of the schools.
In the context of this publication, the EDO has submitted two proposals that are available in open access. These are:
GOVERNANCE CHALLENGES OF SPANISH UNIVERSITIES developed by Joaquín Gairín and Diego Castro and which elaborates on the challenges facing the university governance system in Spain focusing on three core areas: institutional autonomy, participation in the governance and accountability. TOOLS FOR IMPROVING ORGANIZATIONS AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT prepared by José Luis Muñoz, David Rodriguez i Aleix Barrera, and in which it addresses the proposals as the networking, educational plans of setting, collaboration between schools, municipalities and families, strategic planning and service charters, which allow a better relationship between educational organizations and the environment.
