New Book released

Already available the last publication of ACCEDES project, which gathers a global view of the different access systems to university in Iberoamerica.
It’s already available online the publication “Systems of access, rules of permanence and strategies of tutoring and retention of students in higher education”, which appears thanks to the work developed by the different partners of the ACCEDES project.
The book gathers a detailed description of systems of higher education access from almost every Iberoamerican country, highlighting those strategies and tools that have been implemented with the purpose of improving continuance and success in their egress on students that belong to a vulnerable group (indigenes, women, handicapped, minorities, immigrants, low HDI, rural students, non-regular students, among others.).
Therefore, it’s put on record that access and continuance in higher education is still an important challenge for university systems and their institutions, and even more if is considered the fact that promotion through training is considered an essential factor of social mobility and a tool to improve social cohesion.
