New BIObec coordination meeting

On January 25 and 26, a new coordination meeting of the BIObec project was held in Seville.
The BIObec project recently held a plenary meeting in Seville, which was organised in a hybrid format to accommodate all consortium partners. The on-site meetings brought together partners from across Europe to discuss the progress of the project and to plan for the next steps. Those who were unable to attend in person were able to participate in the meetings remotely, allowing for a seamless and inclusive experience for all involved. The meeting, which lasted for two days, was focused on the different business models that will be used to develop the six Bio-Based Education Centres (BBECs) that are at the heart of the BIObec project. The discussions were productive and allowed for a deep dive into the various aspects of the business models, such as operations, and replicability. It was clear from the discussions that the consortium partners are making great progress in the development of the BBECs. The different business models that are being considered are tailored to meet the needs of the industry and to boost the contribution of the bioeconomy to societal challenges. For more information about the project, visit its official website.
