Multilingualism and Cultural Diversity
From 25th to 29th October will take place in Barcelona various training activities related to KOINOS project, aimed at teachers and other educational and social agents.
The training activities proposed by KOINOS project aim to influence introspection and a contrast of critical views on the practice, pointing toward creating new concepts that help us advance into an inclusive and multilingual education. Specifically, the training activities planned are the following:
- Multilingualism and Cultural Diversity session: an educational responsibility shared, aimed at federations and associations of parents of pupils, schools, associations, municipal technicians and other staff interested in the subject, to perform on October 20th, 2016 in IMEB headquarters.
- Training of Trainers Seminar, for representatives of institutions and organizations with responsibilities for training and other educational policies related to this topic, to perform on October 29th, 2016 at the headquarters of IMEB.
- Training Seminar of Professionals in Education "Multilingualism and Coexistence", aimed at primary school teachers and other education agents, to perform between the 13th and the 15th of December 2016 at the headquarters of IMEB.
KOINOS is an European project Erasmus+ based on cooperation between different institutions that work in school education and higher education. The project proposal is largely based on a concept of multilingual and intercultural education within a social conception of teaching and learning. This is to recognize the voice of all citizens and that it will became the foundations of communication in which our pupils will learn. Led by the city of Barcelona, part of the consortium at the University of Barcelona, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (represented by ERDISC-EDO), University of Hamburg and the University of Aveiro.
