Master’s Degree Opening

EDO-UAB starts today academic activities related to the Postgraduate and Master’s Degree course about Managing Centres for Educational Innovation. The purpose of this first session is generating a place for analysis and reflection about the leadership role and its relevance in change and innovation processes, thus starting the program that will allow the students endorsed to gain the competencies needed for leading an educational centre.

This program, recognized by Generalitat de Catalunya as important for accessing to direction jobs, is structured in 6 wide subjects where it will be analyzed: training and educational centres as organizations, leadership, institutional approaches, training centres and its environment, facility management and innovation and change in educational centres.

In today’s session Serafín Antúnez will take over to present which are the organizational components, and after it, they will analize with all students the character of the different director tasks. Tomorrow Joaquín Gairín, coordinator of the program, will make a conference about how changes and innovation affect educational centres and which role managers should assume as change agents.
