Last INTERSTICE coordination meeting

The objective of this meeting was to present all the results obtained during the development of the project, as well as to issue a final assessment of the project and plan the last actions to be carried out before its completion date. This last meeting took place at the Santa Mònica Art Center and Space C of the Sagarra School. In addition, the resident artist Rosa Llop has joined the meeting and has explained her experiences and her reflections on the creation of art in a common space, with the children also involved in her creative processes.
The project, coordinated by Silvia Blanch and Gemma París, has received a global endowment of €295,604.00 from the European Union. Its objective was to influence the improvement of the training of university students developing to be teachers of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education by incorporating innovative experiences that intertwine art and education through collaborative learning between students, artists, teachers and children. These innovations promote inclusive artistic creative experiences for university students to influence the child population, especially those most vulnerable and who have fewer opportunities to experience quality proposals. The results of the project include different products and pedagogical materials that facilitate the training and implementation of experiences for university students so that they, in turn, can train teachers and other education professionals together with artists, in order to include the art of integrated into the university and other educational and cultural institutions.
