This symposium presents the results of several studies on the identification, development and evaluation of informal learning, linked to activities that employees of an organization perform in the workplace,
The modern public and private organizations seeking to become learning organizations through strategies of knowledge management and informal learning. The organizations in this line, expect their members to generate knowledge, continuously learn and share that knowledge and learning with the rest of the organization. These purposes aspirations become when the complexity and intensity of the tasks require workers to develop new coordinated, effective and at a reasonable time responses.
Continually new situations, whose attention is not provided by the organizations that raise the need for different approaches and the use of strategies and tools that allow us to capture the complexity and provide the most relevant answers appear. Inevitably, we refer here to the exchange of knowledge, informal learning and the mechanisms that enable their proper management.
This symposium presents the results of several studies on the identification, development and evaluation of informal learning, linked to activities that employees of an organization perform in the workplace, which imply a development of their professional skills (Cofer, 2000 Lohman, 2009).
