On Tuesday, December 13, a new working meeting of the European project InventCultura took place.

Last Tuesday, December 13, members of the research team of the European InventCultura Project held a working meeting with representatives of various Catalan cultural institutions. This project has spent two years analyzing the social values of culture and how certain factors such as globalization, European integration, waves of migration, the digital revolution and the increase in social inequalities are influencing the culture of European citizens. The Sala Pompeu Fabra, donated by l'Ateneu for this occasion, served as the ideal setting for presenting the progress of the project to this public producer or cultural manager.

The meeting was chaired by Jordi López, Business Professor and main researcher of the InventCultura team. Other project researchers attended, such as Joan Llonch who presented the advances in cultural, interpersonal and political cosmopolitanism and Pilar López who presented the work on cultural identity and its integrating role. The event was attended by Jordina Puntí - Sabadell City Council, Miquel Molins - Fundació Banc Sabadell, Lluïsa Julià - Ateneu Barcelonés, Frederic Santa-Olalla Rovira - Teatre La Cubana, Itziar Sen - Cercle Artístic Sant Lluc, Núria Cugat - La Vanguardia , Joan Marcet - Academy of Fine Arts of Sabadell (on-line) and Maite Esteve - Fundació Catalunya Cultura (on-line)

The mind is now set on investigating what are the social and cultural premises for the successful implementation of the New European Agenda for Culture. For this reason, this act also served to present the next steps of the project where this public producer or cultural manager will play a central role in the following actions and investigations of the InventCultura team.
